HERMITUDE’S HYPERPARADISE FIRST TO MAKE SHORT LIST

Although the judges have been inundated with eligible albums this year, there is one that has already won them over enough to be welcomed into the shortlist: Hermitude’s HyperParadise. The fourth studio album from the Blue Mountains natives’ is the first of nine albums that will be included in The 8th Australian Music Prize’s short list.
It’s a release that has already earned them a slew of praise, including an AIR award, an Aria nomination, a triple j JAward for best video and a triple j JAward nomination for best Australian album. The Coopers Amp shortlisting is another feather in the duo’s cap, as critical acclaim for HyperParadise continues to grow.
Hermitude says: “We're totally stoked as a predominantly instrumental duo to be short listed for The Amp!”
